Pirates Sign Dominican Shortstop Adrian Valerio

The Pittsburgh Pirates have agreed to terms with Dominican shortstop Adrian Valerio on a $400,000 bonus. He is the second big International signing from today, with outfielder Edinson Lantigua being announced earlier.
