Today’s Prospect Feature: Brett Lorin had pitched just 10 innings in relief in college ball going in to the 2008 season with Arizona. He transfered to Long Beach State, where he received more playing time, and put up a 2.61 ERA. That was enough for the Seattle Mariners to take him in the 5th round of the 2008 MLB draft, giving him a $170 K signing bonus.
