Andrew McCutchen left Sunday’s game with a shoulder injury that he sustained while making a diving catch. He was officially diagnosed with a mildly sprained AC joint, which will likely keep him out of action for a few days. McCutchen will be reevaluated today, and the Pirates have not yet ruled him out for tonight’s game.

Evan Meek Named to the 2010 All-Star Game

It was announced today that Evan Meek will be the Pittsburgh Pirates’ representative on the National League roster of the 2010 All-Star Game.  Meek is in the middle of a tremendous season in which he’s posted a 0.98 ERA in 46 innings of work, with an 8.2 K/9, a 2.2 BB/9, and a .183 BAA.
