Pittsburgh Pirates Game 72 Recap

In 2010, as a college sophomore, Anthony Rendon hit for a .394/.530/.801 line in 226 at-bats for the University of Rice.  He tied for second in the NCAA with 26 home runs, and was named the NCAA Player of the Year by Baseball America.  Rendon is the heavy favorite to go first overall in the 2011 draft.
