Eric Wedge to the Mariners

According to Jon Heyman of Sports Illustrated, the Seattle Mariners have settled on Eric Wedge as their next manager.  Wedge was seen as the favorite for the Pittsburgh Pirates open spot, and with him off the market, the race seems wide open. Pirates Interview Carlos Tosca

The Pittsburgh Pirates interviewed Carlos Tosca today, making him the seventh candidate that they’ve interviewed in their search for a new manager.  Some information about Tosca: -Managed in the minor leagues for 11 seasons between 1980 and 2001, ranging from the Gulf Coast League to AAA. -Was the manager of the Toronto Blue Jays from 2002-2004. -Became the bench coach of the Arizona Diamondbacks for the 2005 and 2006 seasons....
