The Pittsburgh Pirates have placed right handed pitcher Ross Ohlendorf on the 15-day disabled list and have called up Brian Burres to take Ohlendorf’s place.  That’s somewhat of a surprise, as a lot of people expected Charlie Morton to get the call.  Morton has a 1.50 ERA in four starts in August, spanning 24 innings, with a 17:9 K/BB ratio and a .200 BAA. Pirates to acquire Chris Snyder
