Some roster moves for today… -The Pittsburgh Pirates placed Steve Pearce on the 15-day disabled list with a sprained ankle, and called up Neil Walker to take his place.  Pearce sprained his ankle trying to catch an errant throw by Delwyn Young last night. The Pittsburgh Pirates have activated relief pitcher Brendan Donnelly from the 15-day disabled list, and have placed relief pitcher Jack Taschner on the 15-day disabled list with a tight left hamstring.  The set of moves made it so that the Pirates didn’t have to send anyone down to AAA to make room for Donnelly. Kevin Hart has a torn labrum

According to Dejan Kovacevic, Kevin Hart has been diagnosed with a torn labrum in his right shoulder, with surgery being recommended.  Hart will go to see Dr. James Andrews for a second opinion, although the mention of Andrews is never a good thing.
