According to Dejan Kovacevic, the Pittsburgh Pirates have signed six international prospects out of the Dominican Republic, pending age and identity investigations.  Those prospects are RHP Yunior Montero, LHP Cristian Hernandez, OF Miguel DeAza, SS Rodney Polonia, OF Yunior Valdez, and LHP Melvin Rosario. The Pittsburgh Pirates have signed Dominican pitcher Jonathan Herrand out of the Dominican league La Javilla for a $185 K signing bonus, according to Jeffrey Nolasco of Hoy (via MLB Trade Rumors). According to Dejan Kovacevic, the Pittsburgh Pirates have signed six Latin American prospects.  The players are outfielder Willy Garcia, right handed pitchers Brayan Almonte, Oderman Rocha, and Jose Luis Acosta, left handed pitcher Angel Sanchez, and first baseman Jose Roman.
