After last night’s game was postponed and this one was delayed, the Pirates quickly gave the fans in attendance what they wanted: an early lead. Ohlendorf to the DL, Daniel McCutchen Recalled

The Pittsburgh Pirates have placed Ross Ohlendorf on the 15-day disabled list with a shoulder strain, and have recalled right handed pitcher Daniel McCutchen from Indianapolis.  My guess is that Jeff Karstens will take Ohlendorf’s place in the starting rotation while he is out, with McCutchen taking over as the long man in the bullpen. Early Look at the 2012 Payroll
