Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitching prospect Luis Heredia will start the 2012 season with the State College Spikes, Cory Giger reports. The 17-year old right-hander pitched in the GCL last year, throwing 30.1 innings. In that time he put up a 4.75 ERA, a 6.8 K/9, and a 5.6 BB/9 ratio.
