Like a fastball down the middle to Garrett Jones…

…I’m gone! I’m leaving tomorrow morning for vacation (well, after taking a test in my process to be certified as a teacher), and won’t be back for a week. Due to the fact that I don’t want my wife to kill me with a starfish (and due to the fact that I’ll also be relaxing on a beach like Neal Huntington during the opening days of free agency), I won’t be posting much in the following week. Will the Pirates really take Tony Sanchez at #4?

When the Tony Sanchez talk originally came out I didn’t buy in to it. That’s mostly because it was from one source: Keith Law. Neal Huntington Trade History Dave Littlefield Trade...

Neal held on to Bay, Nady, and pretty much everyone else before the 2008 season, hoping their value would increase from the 2007 season. I have no clue why...

The Draft: Neal Huntington vs Dave Littlefield

I just received my 2009 Baseball America Prospect Handbook in the mail this week. It’s hard enough keeping track of all of the major leaguers in baseball, plus all of the players in the NHL, and all of the off-season moves in the NFL during the baseball season. It would be impossible to try and analyze 30 prospects from each team in baseball on top of that. So I get this book, along with a other sources and career stats, in...
