Notes: Non-Roster Invitees, Bryce Harper, 2010 Draft

A few brief notes… -The Pirates added three more non-roster invitees to Spring Training today, according to Dejan Kovacevic. Those three players are shortstop Brian Friday, infielder Doug Bernier, and catcher Hector Gimenez.  None are really expected to compete for a roster spot, and only Friday has a future with the team.  The Spring Training tracker is updated with the additions. Anthony Claggett and Steven Jackson clear waivers

According to Jennifer Langosch and Dejan Kovacevic, relief pitchers Steven Jackson and Anthony Claggett have both cleared waivers and have been outrighted to AAA.  Both pitchers will be non-roster invitees for Spring Training.  The Spring Training tracker has been updated to reflect this, with 62 players now expected to be in camp.
