Pittsburgh Pirates Mid-Season Top 30 Prospects

Are the Pirates Preparing For a Ryan Doumit Trade?

The Pittsburgh Pirates optioned Jason Jaramillo to AAA yesterday after the game, and will most likely call Erik Kratz up to the majors as the backup catcher in the second half sometime this week.  I’ve been thinking about the move, and can’t help but think that it lines up perfectly for a Ryan Doumit trade.
