The Pittsburgh Pirates recalled Kris Johnson, Travis Snider, and Kyle Farnsworth this morning on the first day that rosters expanded. The active roster is currently at 28 players, and the Pirates can expand that up to 40, using everyone on the 40-man roster if they wanted to.
