Pirates sign Heredia for $2.6 million

According to Dejan Kovacevic, the Pirates are likely to agree to terms with top Mexican prospect Luis Heredia on Thursday.

UPDATE (7:20 AM): The Pirates have officially signed Heredia for $2.6 million, the highest international bonus in team history.

Not a bad week for the Pirates pitching prospects. The future looks a bit brighter now that is for sure.
