Pribanic pitched seven strong innings tonight, but Altoona couldn't close out the win.

Inman pitched four shutout innings today.

Top Hitter: Elevys Gonzalez (3-for-4, 2B, SB)

Notes: Bradenton got some great pitching tonight, leading the team to a 5-1 victory.  Jeffrey Inman (1.50) made his longest appearance of the season, pitching four shutout innings, allowing just one hit, no walks, and striking out one.  Duke Welker (5.06) added a shutout inning, allowing just one walk.  Matt McSwain (3-1, 1.89) closed things out, pitching the final four innings, allowing one run on two hits with four strikeouts.

Elevys Gonzalez (.378) went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored.  Adalberto Santos (.300) went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.  Ramon Cabrera (.450) went 1-for-3 with an RBI.

WEST VIRGINIA POWER (A)

Curry went 4-for-7 with a home run in today's double header.

Notes: West Virginia lost both games of a double header to Kannapolis, with both games ending in an 8-7 score.  Colton Cain (4.26) started game one, allowing six runs on five hits in two innings.  Trent Stevenson (4.82) followed with three shutout innings, allowing three hits.  Jason Townsend (0.00) continued his strong start, pitching a shutout inning, allowing one hit and striking out one.  Casey Sadler (0-1, 6.75) allowed two runs on five hits in 0.2 innings.

Matt Curry (.400) went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs.  Drew Maggi (.167) went 2-for-5 with a double and a run.  Justin Howard (.320) went 2-for-3 with a triple.  Jairo Marquez (.500) went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.

Zack Von Rosenberg (7.24) started game two, allowing five runs on nine hits in 3.2 innings, with three walks and three strikeouts.  Kevin Decker (2.92) followed that up, pitching 1.1 shutout innings, allowing two hits, one walk, and striking out two.  Zach Foster (0-1, 6.30) allowed three runs on six hits in 1.2 innings.

Curry had another good game, going 2-for-3this time, with three runs and a walk.  Daniel Grovatt (.306) went 1-for-3 with a stolen base and two RBIs.  Eric Avila (.182) went 1-for-3 with two runs. Maggi went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, a run, and an RBI.
