Notes: Brian Burres (3.52) pitched 6.2 shutout innings, allowing three hits, four walks, and striking out six.  Michael Dubee (0.00) made his 2011 AAA debut, pitching 1.1 shutout innings, allowing a walk and striking out two.  Cesar Valdez (1-0, 2.62) pitched a shutout inning, allowing one hit.

Alex Presley (.343) went 2-for-3 with a double and a walk.  John Bowker (.336) and Matt Hague (.294) each went 2-for-4.  Eric Fryer (.300) went 1-for-3 with a stolen base.


Altoona was suspended in the third inning.  They were leading 11-1 at the time.  The game will be resumed tomorrow.

Aaron Baker (.276) went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI.  Jarek Cunningham (.274) went 2-for-5 with a double.  Robbie Grossman (.279) went 2-for-5 with a walk, his 13th stolen base of the season, and a walk off RBI single.


Rojas Jr. went 4-for-7.

Take a look at Rojas Jr’s splits, I assume he is still switch hitting.  The sample size is small but if he continues anywhere close to his current split he will be batting left handed only in the future I believe.
