Game Notes: Tim Alderson had a rough start tonight. Heading into tonight’s outing he had a 6.75 ERA in 12 innings in June. I saw his last appearance, which came out of the bullpen. He still had his velocity, but was leaving the ball up and getting hit pretty hard. Kelson Brown had a two homer game for his first two homers of the year in Altoona. Quincy Latimore had a .288/.365/.545 line in 66 at-bats in the month of June before tonight’s game. He’s got a seven game hitting streak.
