UPDATE 3:24 PM: Peter Gammons reports the Pirates also received minor league right-handed reliever Kyle Kaminska in the deal. Kaminska has been pitching for Double-A, and currently has a 5.11 ERA in 49.1 innings, with a 42:9 K/BB ratio. He's 23 years old. Kaminska wasn't a top 30 prospect in Baseball America's rankings of the Marlins' system, and rated as the 9th best right handed relief prospect. After being drafted in 2007, he was said to have a lively low 90s fastball, a short slider, and a solid changeup.
