The Bradenton Marauders are sending three players to the Florida State League All-Star game. Gregory Polanco, Alen Hanson, and Nick Kingham have all been selected to the game, which will be played on Saturday, June 15th.
Polanco and Hanson each made the South Atlantic League All-Star team last year. Polanco leads the Marauders in batting average (.321), home runs (6), RBI (30), and stolen bases (23). He is second in the league in stolen bases.
Hanson is batting .284 with two home runs and 22 RBI. His five triples are tied for second in the league. Hanson has added 11 steals to the Marauders league-best 86 stolen bases. The FSL recognized Hanson as the Player of the Week for the period May 20-May 26.
Kingham leads the league in strikeouts with 68. He has a 6-2 record and 3.24 ERA, and ranks second in the league in victories. He is ranked fourth in both WHIP (1.04) and batting average against (.220).
