The Altoona Curve have released their Opening Day 25 man roster. The top prospects on the roster are Alen Hanson, Nick Kingham and Joely Rodriguez, who were all among the top 15 prospects in our 2014 Prospect Guide. We had mentioned that Stetson Allie will begin his season there, but for now, he is being held back in Extended Spring Training due to an oblique injury. Below, you will find the complete roster. Left-handed pitchers are marked with an asterisk. We will have a complete season preview of the Curve on Tuesday.

  1. I’m going to some games in Altoona this year… I cant wait to see Kingham pitch!!! If I remember right Garcia had a big season the same year as Polanco and Hanson. Tim who do you think is a better prospect Garcia or Rojas? Sorry if this is somewhere else and I didn’t look.

  2. Is there any realistic hope that Drew Maggi will regain his prospect status? Tim I know you and others were high on him at one time.

  3. Again, Altoona will be the weakest roster in the Pirates organization, but what about 1B Stetson Allie? 2B/3B Dan Gamanche? LF Quincy Lattimore?
