Injury Updates: Stetson Allie Out a Few Days With a Minor Injury

Published:

A few minor injury updates from minor league camp today.

**Stetson Allie is out with a tight oblique. Allie described the injury as “nothing too serious”. He felt something two days ago when taking a swing, and said he could have kept playing, but the team decided to play it cautious. Right now Allie is taking three days off, rehabbing the injury, and then re-evaluating things.

**Austin Meadows has been out with a hamstring injury, which I reported last week. Meadows was listed as an extra in the West Virginia game today, but he wasn’t listed as one of the guys entering the game for the second half, and I didn’t notice him in the game. The hamstring injury was described by Meadows as mild last week.

**JaCoby Jones had a knee injury last year, after spending time at shortstop and center field. The injury wasn’t expected to impact his positional availability in the future, and that was shown today with Jones playing shortstop in the West Virginia game.
