Links to Prospect Sites For Other Major League Baseball Teams

I often get asked if there are prospect sites for other teams, similar to Pirates Prospects. When I first started this site, I wanted to create something similar to what Red Sox fans had at Sox Prospects. I’ve also followed prospect sites for other teams, such as Indians Prospect InsiderReds Minor LeaguesTwins DailyPadres PublicDRay Bay, and MLB Prospect Portal to name a few.

One of those sites, FutureSox, has a list of other team prospect sites to follow. Last week I put up a survey, asking what you wanted to see on Pirates Prospects. A few of the responses involved some form of information about prospects in other systems, whether that involved prospects the Pirates were playing on a given night, or just general information. It’s difficult following other teams and their prospects when trying to know everything about one specific system. The best place for that information would be on other team sites. So I took the list that FutureSox had, and updated it with some sites I knew about, along with replacing any sites that seem to be shut down.

If you know of any sites that aren’t mentioned below, let me know. Also, if you see a site that is no longer active, point it out.

Tim started Pirates Prospects in 2009 from his home in Virginia, which was 40 minutes from where Pedro Alvarez made his pro debut in Lynchburg. That year, the Lynchburg Hillcats won the Carolina League championship, and Pirates Prospects was born from Tim's reporting along the way. The site has grown over the years to include many more writers, and Tim has gone on to become a credentialed MLB reporter, producing Pirates Prospects each year, and will publish his 11th Prospect Guide this offseason. He has also served as the Pittsburgh Pirates correspondent for Baseball America since 2019. Behind the scenes, Tim is an avid music lover, and most of the money he gets paid to run this site goes to vinyl records.

Tim,

Why did you have to go and put up all those links? Just more fodder for me to spend more time at the computer reading about baseball. Wife is going to have a hissy fit when she finds these links bookmarked in by browser.

Other than that complaint, thanks much for the links. Will see if they can hold a candle to PPs.
