Amazing Performances From Glasnow, Bell, and Sampson This Week

Steve Lombardozzi, UTIL, Indianapolis – 5.33 RC

Stats: 10-for-27, 2B, 6 BB

Notes: The injury to Jaff Decker created a hole in the lineup, which was filled by Lombardozzi. He’s been hitting well this year, with a .951 OPS in 82 at-bats with Indianapolis. The fact that he can play all over the field gives him some additional value. If this hitting continues, he could get a look in Pittsburgh as a depth option at some point this year.
