PITTSBURGH - Pirates second baseman Josh Harrison will represent the team at the 2017 Major League Baseball All-Star Game to be played July 11 in Miami.

Harrison was selected for the second time in his career. He was previously selected in 2014.

"We are very proud of Josh being named to the NL All-Star team," Manager Clint Hurdle said. "His heart and hustle on the field of play are contagious. (His) second time named for the classic has been earned."

Harrison spoke with reporters after the Pirates 5-3 loss to the San Francisco Giants on Sunday regarding his All-Star selection.
