On Friday, we run a program called Pay It Forward Friday. The program allows you to Pay It Forward by purchasing a Pirates Prospects subscription for certain professions that provide an important public service, as a way to say thank you to those people.

We currently offer Pay It Forward subscriptions for the following professions: Teachers, Students, Nurses, Police, Fire and Rescue, and Public Works. We also offer the option to purchase for another profession you don’t see on the list.

You can purchase a Pay It Forward subscription for any one of those categories here.

Every Friday we will release the subscriptions that were purchased the week before, available to claim on a first come, first serve basis. Here are the available subscriptions this week.

Students: 1

Teachers: 1

UPDATE: And just like that, they’re gone! Took less than ten minutes. That’s why we have the deal for students and teachers this month, with info below.

To claim one of these subscriptions, send an e-mail to tim@piratesprospects.com with verification. The verification must be included in the original email to qualify.

The student and teacher subscriptions go quickly, and faster than any other profession by far. Because of this, we are running a special promotion this month where students and teachers can get a discounted subscription of just $19.99 in their first year. To claim a discounted subscription, send an e-mail to tim@piratesprospects.com with verification that you are a student or a teacher. You will then be sent a code to use for your discount. Current subscribers can participate in this deal by getting a one year extension on their current subscription.

IMPORTANT: You will need to update your password after the switch to the new server in order to log in and comment. Go to the Password Reset Page to change your password.

  1. A lot of talk about the outfield naturally since Cutch was traded but haven’t heard much about Osuna.
I was really encouraged by watching his his first season in the bigs. If he is the primary RF I think he could have a big year.
I know all the talk has been on Meadows but Jose may have something to say on that.
