Live Discussion: Nationals 3, Pirates 2, Final

The Pittsburgh Pirates (17-11) head to Washington to take on the Nationals (12-16) in a four-game series. The Pirates will send Jameson Taillon to the mound, while the Nationals will counter with Tanner Roark.

News out of Washington is that Nick Kingham will remain in the rotation, for now. As I wrote this morning, that’s the right call, although the Pirates really only have need for a fifth starter twice between now and May 20th. Alan Saunders had more on Kingham’s new slider today:
