The Pittsburgh Pirates (53-51) take on the New York Mets (43-57) in game two of a four-game series at PNC Park. The Pirates will send Ivan Nova to the mound, while the Mets are countering with lefty Jason Vargas.
Prior to the game, Michael Feliz was optioned to Indianapolis, while Alex McRae was recalled to help a bullpen that put in six innings yesterday. Mets had to update their lineup because they traded Asdrubal Cabrera.
