Altoona is going to have a hard time getting their game in today (just like the Pirates) unless the weather forecast changed a lot since I wrote this up. If they do play, Carmen Mlodzinski will get the start. All four games are early afternoon starts. A little update with the title and probables now listed. Sean Sullivan replaced Adrian Florencio as the starter in Greensboro. Sullivan, as you can see in the stats below, was doing well before today’s game.

Osvaldo Bido sure has been impossible to hit this season. The problem is that he’s not hitting the strike zone enough. The only run he allowed was unearned, giving him a 2.41 ERA on the season. Cam Vieaux did some impressive relief work with 3.1 shutout innings and four strikeouts. Hunter Stratton tossed a scoreless eighth, allowing one hit, along with three strikeouts. Yerry De Los Santos struck out the side on 12 pitches in the ninth for the save. Indianapolis won this game 3-1. They got on the board with the first batter of the game, as Ji-hwan Bae hit his third home run of the season. They only picked up four more hits the rest of the day and the other two runs both scored on errors.
