Pirates DVR: Connor Scott Double, Mike Jarvis Home Run, Cal Mitchell Bases Clearing Double

Welcome to the Pirates Prospects daily video rundown, where we pull some of the top videos of the Pittsburgh Pirates across the internet.

Daily Video Rundown

Connor Scott

The Altoona Curve ended up losing, but Connor Scott did his best to give his team a chance to win, hitting a two-run double in the sixth inning that gave them the lead temporaily.

Mike Jarvis

When Mike Jarvis makes the DVR it’s usually because of his glove. Thursday night though was a different story as the infielder hit his third home run of the season.

Cal Mitchell

Back with Indianapolis, Cal Mitchell now has 28 RBI in 36 games played at Triple-A after picking up two on a bases clearing double on Thursday. The final run scored advanced on an error, so he was only credited with two RBI.

Matt Fraizer

It’s been a rough season for Matt Fraizer, but in the month of June he did pick up hits in 15-of-23 games. He got Altoona on the board with this base hit on Thursday.

Oneil Cruz

Oneil Cruz hit a mammoth home run for the Pirates on Thursday, coming off the bat at 110 mph. The two-run shot was his second home run of the season, and third of his major league career.

So where does Mitchell play?

I wonder if the front office feels very confident about their evaluation of the OF logjam/plan to keep reynolds that they might offer up mitchell or swaggy to the phils or cle, not sure if they would want them or not, but especially the phils would have swaggy as someone who doesnt suck defensively to put in CF

I think NYY are a trade partner to also consider.
