Daily Video Rundown

Quinn Priester

The Pirates 2019 first round pick pitched in his second Triple-A game on Tuesday, and after a strong start, things fell off the rails in the final inning-plus for Priester.

After striking out four in the first two innings, and three overall shutout frames, Priester allowed four runs down the stretch, before being pulled after allowing a home run in the fifth. He struggled with his control, walking five across the 4 1/3 innings pitched on Tuesday.

Jared Jones

Greensboro wrapped up their season a couple of weeks ago, which included Jared Jones. The righty had an up and down season, getting beat up a bit but still showed that swing and miss stuff that allowed him to be among the leaders in strikeouts in High-A.

This is a look at his start from August 28 against Greenville, pitching 4 2/3 innings, allowing three hits and an unearned run while striking out five.

Miguel Andujar

In just his second game with the Pirates, Andujar delivered a bases-clearing double to give the Pirates the lead in a game they eventually won.

After bouncing around many websites covering hockey, he refocused his attention to baseball, his first love when it comes to sports. He eventually found himself here at Pirates Prospects in late 2021, where he covers the team’s four full season minor league affiliates.
