Tsung-Che Cheng
The World Baseball Classic has kicked off and Cheng was one of the many players from the Pirates system to participate. He kicked things off, leading off for Chinese Taipei, by going 3-for-5 with a run and RBI.

Cody Bolton
The Pirates made the decision to have Bolton work exclusively out of the bullpen in 2023. He made his second appearance of spring on Tuesday, the first one televised.
Mike Burrows
The righty made it all the way up to Triple-A last year, eventually getting added to the 40-man in the offseason. He made another appearance in spring training, pitching an inning out of the bullpen.
The stat line didn’t look the best, but a misplay in the outfield extended the inning.
Anthony began writing over 10 years ago, starting a personal blog to cover the 2011 MLB draft, where the Pirates selected first overall.
