Really would like to see a Gonzales for Williams swap and a bae for palacios swap.
I hear that- if Gonzales doesn’t play up here now with Cruz hurt, there won’t be a spot for him to play when he’s back. I’d rather see Nick work through his stuff in the bigs than watch pop gun alika williams try and hit.
Yeah it looks like they disagree and send Triolo down for bae… just don’t understand.
So regarding Nick Gonzales- I don’t care what his OPS is in AAA. I care about his swing and miss rate at off-speed pitches. That’s literally the only thing which will help him succeed in the majors.
I don’t think he would have a meaningful sample size in nine games.
