| Kirsch was rated the number eight prospect in the state of Pennsylvania by Baseball America. He overhauled his mechanics before the season, and learned how to throw strikes, climbing up the draft boards to be considered a top ten round talent. He has a projectable frame, pitching in the 85-88 MPH range, and touching 90 MPH from the left side. He has a 10-4 curveball, which could be a potential out pitch down the road. Kirsch doesn’t have a college commitment, so he should be an easy sign, and is a lefty pitcher to watch in case he adds velocity. |
