Urbina struggled in limited action after signing.

2012
DSL:  2-2-0, 4.42 ERA, 1.42 WHIP, 53.0 IP, 4.1 BB/9, 5.3 K/9

Urbina showed some improvement while pitching mainly as a starter, but his walk and K rates still weren’t good.

2013
DSL:  3-0-0, 2.19 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, 24.2 IP, 1.8 BB/9, 3.6 K/9

Shoulder problems limited Urbina to five starts.  He got outstanding results when he was able to pitch, apart from an extremely low K rate.

2014
R+:  1-3-1, 8.01 ERA, 1.81 WHIP, 30.1 IP, 5.0 BB/9, 5.6 K/9

Urbina pitched mostly out of the Bristol bullpen and struggled.  Walks and gopher balls (one every five innings) were problems, and opponents also batted .314 against him.

2015
R+:  2-5-0, 6.99 ERA, 1.98 WHIP, 28.1 IP, 3.8 BB/9, 7.3 K/9

Urbina returned to Bristol, still pitching in relief, and didn’t make much progress.  His walk and strikeout numbers were better, but opponents hit 358/414/569 against him, and he got worse as the season went along.

The last two seasons have been disasters for Urbina.  It’s possible he won’t return.
