The Pirates demoted rookie pitcher Brad Lincoln to Triple-A Indianapolis after his poor start this afternoon. They also designated veteran reliever Brendan Donnelly for assignment. The team is expected to announce corresponding roster moves before Tuesday's game in Colorado. Pirates sign 3rd round draft pick Mel Rojas Jr.
