| De Los Santos was the Pirates’ top signing in the 2021-22 international signing period. He has middle-of-the-order potential with the bat. His arm and speed are a little above average, which enhances the odds that he can stay at short.
2022 De Los Santos had a good debut in the DSL, playing the whole season at age 17. He drew a ton of walks, struck out a lot but not alarmingly so, showed good gap power and did well as a base stealer. In 54 games at short, he committed only ten errors, a very low total for a player so young at that level. De Los Santos should be in the FCL in 2023. |
